The Genesis Bard Event: Building a Democratic Community

Blockepic is designed to be fully community driven and gradually develop into a democratic community, in which "citizens'' are creators who participate in content creation in Blockepic world. In the community's genesis stage, Genesis citizens are 1,000 users possessing Soul Bard avatars.

These Bards are user generated avatars by assembling building blocks. Participants submit their Brad creations for community voting on Snapshot. Users with Citizenship can vote to determine what other Brad avatars should be included in the Soul Bard category. Furthermore, staking Soul Bard NFTs can grant their owners higher voting power, with the duration of the staking period dictating the level of the boost.

Initially, seven Soul Bards belong to users who made significant contributions to the community at the early stage. As voting proceeds, more users will acquire Soul Bards, and participate in future voting. This democratic approach to community development represents a notable social experiment and a deliberate process of decentralization and democratic dissemination. The community aspires to maximize fairness and justice through this scheme, ultimately forming a democratic ecosystem of "user-created, user-owned, user-decided."
